DESCRIPTION:
(from Viaplay US's web site, January 2025) Isabel Eriksson was drugged and kidnapped by Dr. Martin Trenneborg during their second date. When Isabel woke up, she found herself in a bunker that Martin Trenneborg had spent years building. His plan was to keep Isabel and other women locked in the bunker. Dr. Martin Trenneborg was nicknamed 'Sweden's Fritzl' in the international press. The horrifying event took place in 2015, but to this day it still haunts Isabel Eriksson. In the documentary The Bunker Woman, she tells her story and returns to a bunker, reconstructed to resemble the one Martin Trenneborg had built. Isabel suffers from severe post-traumatic stress disorder due to the horrific trauma, preventing her from living a normal life |
