DESCRIPTION:
(from NBC's web site, October 2026) In July 2024, NBCUniversal and the NBA announced an 11-year agreement, bringing NBA basketball back to NBC for the first time in 24 years. The NBA's return to NBC and Peacock for the 2025-26 season delivered strong viewership, with regular-season coverage averaging 2.8 million viewers, up 109%, and Sunday Night Basketball averaging 3.4 million viewers. Building on that momentum, NBC Sports' 2026-27 NBA coverage features 100 regular-season games across NBC and Peacock, including Sunday Night Basketball, Peacock NBA Monday and Coast 2 Coast Tuesday, alongside marquee holiday matchups, NBA All-Star Weekend and playoff coverage. |
