DESCRIPTION:
(from BritBox's press release, February 2026) Kerry Godliman and Nina Singh are to star as Dalziel and Pascoe in a fresh and contemporary reimagining of the beloved British detective series, based on the books by Reginald Hill. The series centres on the relationship between seasoned Detective Inspector Andrea Dalziel, played by Kerry Godliman (Trigger Point, Spinal Tap: The End Continues, Whitstable Pearl, After Life, Save Me) and the newly qualified, by the book perfectionist Detective Sergeant Paige Pascoe played by Nina Singh (Art Detectives, Virdee). Despite their clashing methods, Dalziel and Pascoe work together to form a formidable partnership that is underscored by humour, heart and humanity. |
