DESCRIPTION: (from CBS's press release, July 2024) As part of its expanding DEXTER Universe, SHOWTIME announced the return of Michael C. Hall in the new series DEXTER: RESURRECTION and the previously announced origin story DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN. The announcement was made by a surprise appearance from Executive Producer and star Michael C Hall (DEXTER, SIX FEET UNDER) alongside Executive Producer and Showrunner Clyde Phillips (DEXTER, NURSE JACKIE) at San Diego Comic Con during the DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN panel, which is currently in production. Golden Globe(R) and SAG Winner Michael C. Hall will return as Dexter Morgan in both series - he will star in DEXTER: RESURRECTION set in the present day and narrate the inner voice of a young Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) in DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN which takes place in the 90s.
