DESCRIPTION:
(from Sundance Now's web site, May 2022) Three liberated, subversive Palestinian students in Tel Aviv try to score some weed and get high but instead get caught up in a drug deal with a Palestinian crime family. In trouble with local criminals, the police, and their own families, they need to unload the drugs fast, and so they decide to stage an anti-war protest in the form of a large music festival, bringing Jews and Palestinians together. Along the way, they create a historic moment in the Palestinian and Jewish underground scene. |
