(from BBC America's web site) Two legendary divas of television soap, Zöe Lucker (Tanya Turner) and Dynasty's Joan Collins (as international magazine publisher Eva de Wolffe) face off in the ultimate catfight showdown as the sexiest, sassiest drama on TV returns for a fifth season. Fans will be cheering for more as the show scores with some of the hottest storylines yet - headstrong supermodel Liberty Baker (Phina Oruche, Buffy) and her questionable relationship with her Polish PA; Amber (Laila Rouass) transformed into goddess Kali seeking revenge for her dead husband; and Tanya Turner going head-to-head with Eva de Wolffe for the prize of sexy new Brazilian signing, Paulo Bardosa (Jay Rodan). Following Conrad’s death at the end of last season, his steely widow Amber is out for revenge and she’s determined to find out who pulled the trigger. With new Club Chairman, Garry Ryan (Nicholas Ball, Cold Feet) at the helm, hopes are high for a winning season from The Sparks. But many believe this randy music mogul is in a game he doesn’t understand. Tremaine Gidigbi (Chucky Venice) is a sensational new signing for the Earls Park team and he arrives with a stunning international model girlfriend, Liberty, on his arm. The beautiful Liberty seems attentive enough but while Tremaine has been in the slammer for assault, Liberty’s career has soared. She’s even employed a Personal Assistant, Urszula (Lucia Giannecchini, Extras), to help her with her career. But with Tremaine now back on the scene it looks like he might find his diva girlfriend harder to handle. On the soccer field, the new Earls Park season is back on track and the men are out on the pitch scoring goals while the litter of wives and girlfriends has established a new hierarchy in the players’ lounge. But when an old face makes a dramatic return, their lives will never be the same again.
