ADDITIONAL NOTES: a show on hiatus for longer than 12 months - without any news about its future - is assumed to be canceled |
DESCRIPTION: (from BBC America's web site) The year is 2151 and the British have launched a fleet of space ships to explore the galaxy in the only way the British can - with a stiff upper lip and regular tea breaks. Their mission? To export all things British to all corners of the galaxy - things like overpriced supermarkets, housing projects, call centers and even tractors - all in an effort to protect Britain's interest in an ever-changing galaxy. At the forefront of the expedition is the spacecraft HMS Camden Lock, helmed by the irrepressible, if a little tetchy, Commander Henderson (Nick Frost, Shaun of the Dead, Kinky Boots) and ably assisted by a crew of misfits, the Commander steers his ship through the stars while giving orders from his big swivel chair. |
