(from Netflix's press release, January 2026) Lobo, starring Luis Tosar and featuring Tristán Ulloa, is a miniseries written by Alberto Marini and Juan Galiñanes, directed by Alberto Marini and Javier Rodríguez Delgado and produced by Vaca Films, that has just begun filming. The miniseries is based on the real-life case of Manuel Blanco Romasanta, a traveling tailor who went down in history as Spain's first documented serial killer, in rural 19th-century Galicia. During his trial, he claimed to be a werewolf... and that is where the legend began. |
