(from Amazon's press release, August 2026) Prime Video today announced that the Prime Original scripted series Please Save My Earth will premiere exclusively in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide in autumn 2027. The series is a live-action adaptation of Saki Hiwatari's acclaimed reincarnation-themed sci-fi romance manga, which has sold over 16 million copies since its 1986 debut. Alice Hirose leads the cast as Mokuren, with Takahiro Miki directing. Please Save My Earth is the latest addition to the Prime membership. Prime members in Japan enjoy savings, convenience, and entertainment, all in a single membership. Please Save My Earth follows Arisu Sakaguchi, a high school student who begins experiencing vivid dreams of a past life on a lunar base - and discovers her classmates share the same memories. As Arisu is drawn deeper into the mystery of her former existence, a young boy next door awakens to a past-life persona consumed by love for Mokuren.
