DESCRIPTION:
(from Sundance Channel's press release, April 2016) SundanceTV announced today that production has commenced on the fourth and final season of its original drama series "Rectify" today, Monday, April 11 in Griffin, GA. The hour-long episodic drama was created and written by Academy Award(R) winner Ray McKinnon (The Accountant) and is executive produced by McKinnon, Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein, the award-winning producers behind "Breaking Bad," "Better Call Saul," and "Halt and Catch Fire," and Marshall Persinger ("Army Wives"). The new season, comprised of eight episodes, will air in fall 2016. At the end of Season 3, Daniel was banished from Paulie as part of a plea deal and set out to start his new life in Nashville. The new season picks up a few months later and introduces several new cast members. Nathan Darrow ("House of Cards," "Gotham") will join as Billy, an old classmate of Amantha's who helps her reconnect with her youth. Scott Lawrence (Avatar, "Getting On," "Spark," "The Grinder," "JAG") plays Avery, the leader of Daniel Holden's halfway house who guides his group of ex-offenders with an astute mix of compassion and tough love.
