DESCRIPTION:
(from TV Land's press release, May 2013) Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick, Jane Leeves, Kristen Johnston, Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche, Kelly Stables, Cedric "The Entertainer," Niecy Nash and Wesley Jonathan all squeeze into an hour and a half of comedy with back-to-back-to-back premieres beginning June 19th at 10pm ET. It all starts with a LIVE episodeof "Hot in Cleveland" followed by an exciting season premiere of "The Exes." Rounding out the night, "The Soul Man" returns, and this season, Cedric shows off his "King of Comedy" status as a new segment debuts featuring a rare glimpse of his legendary stand-up. Ending the night at 11pm ET/PT is "The Soul Man," coming back with a comedy nightcap! In the new season, Cedric will return to the format that catapulted him to superstardom - stand-up comedy. At the end of each episode, he'll perform a two-minute set in front of the studio audience relating back to that week's show. "The Soul Man" follows R&B superstar-turned-minister Reverend Boyce "The Voice" Ballentine (Cedric) after he relocated to St. Louis with his wife Lolli (Nash). Now, they have a new addition to their household in the form of Stamps (Jonathan), Boyce's brother, as they continue to adjust to a completely new life. |
