DESCRIPTION:
(from BBC America's web site) Get to know the cast of Spoons with their spot-on renditions of characters based on fabulous young urbanites, presenting life's painfully hilarious moments that occur at parties, job interviews, bad dates, bars, as well as the odd brothel. Meet - The wife who forcefully reminds her partner that she "wants an f-ing baby!" at every possible waking moment, even during a game of charades. The caring husband who offers to cook dinner for his wife since she spent 29 hours delivering their first child. The paranoid boyfriend who reminds his girlfriend to "try to keep your knickers on this time!" whenever she's out of his sight - getting popcorn at the movies or taking a driving test for her license. And last but certainly not least, the shameless "Blind Date Man," who thinks a cockfight, or maybe paintball, is the path to romance. |
