(from AMC's press release, April 2026) AMC Global Media announced today that it has acquired the exclusive U.S. streaming rights to the new drama series YAGA, starring Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix), Noah Reid (Schitt's Creek), Clark Backo (Letterkenny), and Hudson Williams (Heated Rivalry) in his first post-Heated Rivalry role. The eight-episode, half-hour drama series will debut on AMC+ later this year. Based on the hit play by Kat Sandler, who also serves as writer and showrunner, the new original series, originally created for the Canadian streaming service Crave, reimagines the myth of Baba Yaga, as a contemporary mystery thriller. |
