[08/04/11 - 10:43 PM] Video: A Few Minutes With... "So You Think You Can Dance's" Mary Murphy Following Tonight's Results Show By Jim Halterman (TFC)
In the last week of competition before next week's eighth season finale on FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance," two more dancers were sent home tonight to round out the final four that will compete next week. With guest judges Christina Applegate (who was only present for the Wednesday performance night) and choreographer Christopher "Lil' C" Toler helping out judge Mary Murphy and executive producer/judge Nigel Lythgoe, the dancers gave it their all.
However, where most weeks the judges consider the voting results but ultimately decide who stays and who goes, this week the decision was 100% made by the voting. On the press line following tonight's results show, our Jim Halterman chatted with Lythgoe, Murphy, Lil' C, last season's winner Lauren Froderman and runner-up Kent Boyd (who danced their Emmy-nominated performance "Collide" tonight) and the two dancers who are now out of the competition.
And here's the complete index of all the interviews from tonight (8/4/11):
