NEW YORK - January 20, 2012 - Fans of the new hit SHOWTIME(R) comedy series HOUSE OF LIES can now enjoy a behind the scenes look at what goes on at the Galweather & Stearn offices when the hot, young team of consultants is away from their clients. The team typically spends four days a week on the road, working hard and playing even harder. But, on Fridays, the real fun begins... This is the story of what happens on the fifth day. The "Fridays at Galweather" webisodes were written by Emmy(R) Award-winning series star Ben Schwartz and series co-producer Wes Nickerson, and directed by Emmy Award-winning series star Glynn Turman ("The Wire").
The HOUSE OF LIES webisodes focus on Clyde (Schwartz) and Doug's (Josh Lawson) frat boy antics during their "work day" at the Galweather & Stearn offices. Clyde and Doug take on "strategic" issues that include sexual harassment, hazing a new applicant, how to hire cost-effective adult entertainment and what to do when trapped in an elevator. The webisodes will also feature a guest appearance by series star Kristen Bell. For an inside look at "Fridays at Galweather," go to http://galweatherstearn.com/people-values. The videos are also available on SHOWTIME ON DEMAND(R).
HOUSE OF LIES, the new dark comedy about all the screwed up ways big business is practiced these days, airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. The series, based on the hit tell-all book from best-selling author Martin Kihn (House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Then Tell You the Time), peels back the bull to reveal a world few know exists and fewer still have experienced. Meet Marty Kaan (Academy Award(R) nominee Don Cheadle), the big-money earner at Galweather & Stearn, along with his hot, young team - The Pod - of big-balling power players - Jeannie (Bell), Clyde (Schwartz) and Doug (Lawson). Marty and The Pod's work life is all first-class, top-shelf, black Am Ex, the best suites at the nicest hotels. Marty is the ultimate power player and under his direction, this ruthless, pull-no-punches team is here to stick it to the man by beating the corporate suckers at their own game. Dawn Olivieri, Donis Leonard, Jr. and Glynn Turman also star. HOUSE OF LIES delivered 3.2 million viewers to-date in its first week (pending Live+7). HOUSE OF LIES is created and executive produced by Matthew Carnahan. Jessika Borsiczky, Stephen Hopkins and Don Cheadle also serve as executive producers.
