Start with 16 competitors ranging from amateur cooks to renowned chefs and have them make the best dishes they can. Then, add four world-famous chefs as judges - Anthony Bourdain, Nigella Lawson, Ludo Lefebvre and Brian Malarkey - and have them pick the best of the dishes. The twist is that the judges will judge by their taste buds alone. That's right, the judges will be blind-folded so they truly only rely on one spoonful of each dish to see who wins and who loses.

Our Jim Halterman recently sat down with judges Bourdain and Lawson to have them explain the challenges in the show and how they responded to this new spin on the traditional cooking competition show.
