Moving back in with your parents is something that's more common today with the economy in its fragile state and, since she's lived through it, Claudia Lonow created the new ABC sitcom "How to Live with Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life)."
In the series, premiering tonight, divorcee Polly (played by Sarah Chalke) appears on the doorstep of her parents (Brad Garrett and Elizabeth Perkins) to move back in and get her life and the life of her young daughter (Rachel Eggleston) back on track. But with her clashing with her free-spirited/non-traditional parents as well as her ex (Jon Dore) still hanging around, nothing will be easy.
Our Jim Halterman sat down recently with Lonow and Chalke to talk about the show and just how much people should be able to relate to the situation and the characters.
"How to Live with Your Parents (for the Rest of Your Life)" airs Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
