2013 is proving to be a busy year for Netflix as it continues to launch original programming in an innovative way. As it did with "House of Cards" earlier this year and will do with the relaunch of "Arrested Development" in May, all episodes of newcomer "Hemlock Grove" are being released today via streaming on the pay service.
In, "Hemlock Grove," based on the Brian McGreevy novel of the same name, a brutal murder of a young teen starts a murder mystery that, no shocker here, will expose deep, dark - and horror-filled - secrets in a Pennsylvania town. And with horror guru Eli Roth involved in the crafting of the series, expect lots of shocks, thrills and probably more than a little blood.
Last December, our Jim Halterman ventured to the Toronto set of the series to get introduced to the characters and world of "Hemlock Grove" by talking with actors Dougray Scott (Norman), Bill Skarsgard (Roman), Landon Liboiron (Peter), Penelope Mitchell (Letha) and Freya Tingley (Christina) as well as McGreevy himself, who spoke of adapting his own book for television.
All 13 episodes of "Hemlock Grove" are available today via streaming at Netflix.
