"HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER" COMIC-CON PANEL ATTENDEES GOT TO SEE JUST WHAT THOSE KIDS HAVE BEEN DOING ON THE SOFA FOR THE PAST EIGHT YEARS!
Fans of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER have wondered for years just how those two kids could sit on the sofa while their father explains the long and detailed story of how he met their mother. Attendees to the HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER panel at Comic-Con in San Diego today (Saturday) got to see a short video of exactly that.
Filmed on the HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER stages at 20th Century Fox Studios, producers brought back actors Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie to reprise their roles as "Daughter" and "Son," respectively, to give fans an insider's look to how those two kids have endured their father's extensive storytelling.
"This video took eight years to make," says executive producer Craig Thomas. "But as we start to answer all of the remaining mysteries of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, we just knew that this was one question that we had to answer..."
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER returns for its ninth and final season on Monday, Sept. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The series stars Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan, and is executive produced by Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, Pamela Fryman, Stephen Lloyd, Chris Harris, Chuck Tatham, Jamie Rhonheimer and Kourtney Kang for 20th Century Fox Television.
