MTV DEBUTS NEW DOCU-SERIES "SCRUBBING IN" ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24 AT 10:00 PM ET/PT

SANTA MONICA, CA (October 21, 2013) - MTV's "Scrubbing In," a new 60-minute, 10 episode docu-series, follows a group of young travel nurses assigned to work at two Orange County, CA hospitals for three months. Relocating from across the country, the nurses have left their hometowns and lives behind for short-term contracts, with the added benefit of exploring a new city. Together the group faces unique responsibilities and challenges in their intense career in nursing but these energetic, fearless and outgoing nurses are determined to have it all, including a rewarding career and personal life. "Scrubbing In" premieres Thursday, October 24 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

"Scrubbing In" documents the lives of nine professional nurses including Tyrice (Shreveport, LA), Chris (Gilbert, LA) and Fernando (El Paso, TX) who are considered experts of the program. First-time traveling nurses include Adrian (San Diego, CA) as well as Chelsey, Michelle, Crystal, Nikki and Heather, who have embarked on this journey together, looking for a change from their nursing jobs in Pittsburgh, PA.

In the "Scrubbing In" premiere episode airing this Thursday at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, five friends leave their lives behind and travel to southern California and embark on their first journey as travel nurses. When they arrive at their new destination, they meet the group of fellow travelers and all the hell-raising and life-saving begins. As they are getting settled, two of the nurses begin to come to terms with their past and decide if they will be able to move forward.
