FIRST TRAILER: IFC Teases Documentary Now! - Fred Armisen, Bill Hader and Seth Meyers Comedy Premieres Thursday, August 20 at 10:00pm ET/PT on IFC
IFC is kicking off summer with a special first look trailer of Documentary Now!, a brand new comedy that parodies some of the world's most highly regarded documentaries. This 'slightly off' look at history is created by Fred Armisen, Bill Hader and Seth Meyers, and stars Armisen and Hader.
Check out this first look glimpse featuring snapshots of a California-dreaming 70's rock band, a wealthy mother-daughter duo turned recluse and a behind-the-scenes look at the world's very first "docu-drama."
Documentary Now! premieres with the first of six half-hour episodes on Thursday, August 20 at 10:00pm ET/PT on IFC.
Armisen, Hader and Meyers are the creators, executive producers and writers of the series which is produced by Broadway Video and executive produced by Lorne Michaels, as well as Rhys Thomas and Broadway Video's Andrew Singer. Additional guest appearances include Jack Black, John Slattery, Irving Azoff and more.
