MTV Blows "Scream" Fan's Minds with Friday the 13th Viral Stunt

A short time ago, MTV pulled off a #ScreamLIVE stunt that whipped fans into a frenzy and had social media buzzing all weekend.

All week long, fans were driven to watch the live-stream of the first 7 minutes of Season 2 on Facebook/Twitter, hosted by cast member Tom Maden alongside lucky super fans, LIVE from MTV HQ in Times Square, NYC.

But "Scream" fans are in for a big surprise when the feed was interrupted by a familiar masked killer and a 15-minute LIVE murder spree! Fans were able to watch/comment in real-time, interact with the on-screen victims, and ultimately influence the outcome of the story. At the culmination of the prank, we finally unveiled the first 7 minutes of the new season.
