MTV Blows "Scream" Fan's Minds with Friday the 13th Viral Stunt
A short time ago, MTV pulled off a #ScreamLIVE stunt that whipped fans into a frenzy and had social media buzzing all weekend.
All week long, fans were driven to watch the live-stream of the first 7 minutes of Season 2 on Facebook/Twitter, hosted by cast member Tom Maden alongside lucky super fans, LIVE from MTV HQ in Times Square, NYC.
But "Scream" fans are in for a big surprise when the feed was interrupted by a familiar masked killer and a 15-minute LIVE murder spree! Fans were able to watch/comment in real-time, interact with the on-screen victims, and ultimately influence the outcome of the story. At the culmination of the prank, we finally unveiled the first 7 minutes of the new season.
Check out the first 7 minutes of murderous mayhem HERE.
Feel free to post and share and don't forget to tune in for the season two premiere of MTV's "Scream" on Monday, May 30 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.
