NETFLIX RELEASES TRAILER FOR "REVERSING ROE" - LAUNCHING GLOBALLY ON SEPTEMBER 13, 2018
With Roe vs. Wade hanging in the balance, this timely documentary film puts a lens on the intersection of politics and abortion in America
"...gains power by conveying the weight of history that has led to the present moment, with abortion rights hanging in the balance of the Supreme Court."
- Caryn James, The Hollywood Reporter
Netflix today released the trailer and key art for REVERSING ROE - a new documentary film that takes a deep historical look at one of the most controversial issues of our time. Produced by the Academy Award nominated filmmaking team behind THE DEVIL CAME ON HORSEBACK, the film highlights the abortion debate from various points along the ideological spectrum in a winding story of abortion in America.
With all eyes on the midterm elections and Supreme Court hearings this fall, REVERSING ROE helps viewers understand the motivations behind both keeping and reversing this landmark court decision - and what's at stake for both sides. Directed and produced by Annie Sundberg and Ricki Stern and executive produced by Eva Longoria, the film made its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival this past weekend and will launch globally on Netflix on September 13, 2018 and in select theaters in New York and Los Angeles.
