In Xus (pronounced who-oos), the Disneyland of national parks, three indigenous siblings embark on incredible, fantastical adventures. Using traditional necklaces based on real world abalone medallions to communicate with the spirit world, Kodi, Summer and Eddy can turn into their very own animal spirit, using their magical transforming powers to save the day. They belong to the Skycedar family, a beautiful mix of Chumash - from mom's side, and Cowlitz - from dad's side, tribes.
Led by show runner Karissa Valencia, Spirit Rangers has an all-Native writers room and the blessing of the Chumash and Cowlitz tribes, which serve as the cultural foundations of the show.
