'The Monster of Florence': The Four-Episode TV Series Directed by Stefano Sollima Is Coming Only on Netflix on October 22
With the release of the teaser trailer and a new official image, Netflix announces that The Monster of Florence, the four-episode TV series directed by Stefano Sollima, created by Leonardo Fasoli and Stefano Sollima, about the titular serial killer, will be available only on Netflix on October 22, for the 10° anniversary of the service in Italy.
The TV series, a production by The Apartment - a Fremantle company - and AlterEgo, produced by Lorenzo Mieli, Stefano Sollima and Gina Gardini, stars Marco Bullitta, Valentino Mannias, Francesca Olia, Liliana Bottone, Giacomo Fadda, Antonio Tintis and Giordano Mannu.
SYNOPSIS:
Eight double murders.
Seventeen years of terror.
Always the same weapon.
A .22 caliber Beretta.
One of the longest and most complex Italian investigations into the first and most brutal serial killer in the country's history: The Monster of Florence.
This story is based on ongoing legal proceedings and investigations.
In a story where there have been many possible monsters, over time and investigations, our story focuses on them, the possible monsters, from their point of view.
Because the monster, in the end, could be anyone.
