'Genie, Make a Wish' Teaser Hints at a Magical Showdown Between Kim Woo-bin and Suzy
The teaser trailer for the highly anticipated reunion of Kim Woo-bin and Suzy in Genie, Make a Wish has been unveiled. Premiering globally on October 3, the series promises a lighthearted escape filled with magic, destiny, and playful mischief.
The series follows a genie (Kim Woo-bin) awakened after a thousand years, only to meet Ga-young (Suzy), his cold and psychopathic new master. Bound by three wishes and a deadly wager, the two clash in a suspenseful yet sweet romantic comedy where survival and desire are on the line. As the Genie chillingly declares in the teaser: "He's not your run-of-the-mill genie, but a truly evil one - To use a name you may recognize, it's 'Satan'." A dark and haunting declaration that deepens the enigma around this sinister figure, promising secrets and dangers that twist far beyond the ordinary.
The teaser poster captures their perilous dynamic: Genie threatening his master, while Ga-young defiantly presses a hairpin to his throat. Likewise, the trailer teases their explosive chemistry - Genie chasing after wishes, and Ga-young shooting them down at every turn. As glimpses of Ga-young laughing and crying emerge, the mystery of her true emotions deepens, hinting at a romance as thrilling as it is dangerous.
Genie, Make a Wish streams worldwide on October 3, only on Netflix.
