Netflix Unveils Official Trailer for 'Amsterdam Empire' Starring Famke Janssen
Today, Netflix released the official trailer for Amsterdam Empire, a new crime drama set in Amsterdam's cannabis scene. The series stars Famke Janssen and Jacob Derwig in leading roles. This marks Janssen's first role in a Dutch production, and she is also involved as an executive producer on the series.
The cast also includes Elise Schaap, Jade Olieberg, Jesse Mensah, Romana Vrede, Raymond Thiry, Victor Löw, and Yannick van de Velde. Developed by Nico Moolenaar, Bart Uytdenhouwen, and Piet Matthys - the acclaimed team behind the hit shows Undercover and Ferry - Amsterdam Empire will be available exclusively on Netflix from October 30.
The world premiere is set for Tuesday, October 21, in Amsterdam, in the presence of the cast.
