Starring Lil Mama as Deb Antney, The New Biopic Depicts Antney's Rise From the Streets to Music Mogul Fame

New York, NY - February 5, 2025 - Today, ALLBLK, AMC Networks' popular streaming service for Black television and film, revealed the official trailer and key art for the new original feature film, Deb is Boss. The biopic premieres exclusively on ALLBLK Thursday, March 5.

Before becoming a powerhouse music executive who launched Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj, and French Montana, Deb Antney (Lil Mama) was a street-smart survivor navigating the dangerous underworlds of Queens, NY and Boston, MA. Balancing romance, ambition, and hustler instincts, she built an underground drug empire while dreaming of something bigger, laying the foundation for her eventual rise to the top of the music industry.

Deb is Boss also stars LisaRaye McCoy (The Players Club, All of Us, A House Divided) as Amelia, Clifton Powell (Deep Rising) as James and Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years) as Uncle Ben.

Jamie Foxx and Datari Turner Executive Produce for Foxxhole Productions alongside Executive Producers Deb Antney and Nikaya D. Brown Jones, who also serves as Showrunner. Trey Haley serves as Co-EP and Director and Carl Weber as Co-EP and Writer.
