The newest work from Kyoto Animation, "Sparks of Tomorrow" begins streaming worldwide on July 5, only on Netflix.

Two youths dreamed of an "Age of Electricity."

Kihachi Sakamoto writes down the electrical inventions he imagines in the 20th Century Electrical Catalog. He and his admired older brother Seiroku vow to work together to achieve the future they envision. But one day, Seiroku goes off to war, bringing the 20th Century Electrical Catalog with him, and never comes back.

Some time later, Kihachi encounters a girl from a brewery named Inako Momokawa and stumbles upon the lost 20th Century Electrical Catalog. But Yosuke Mizoe, the heir to a major steam engine firm who is engaged to Inako for political reasons, is also in pursuit of the book. Kihachi and Inako oppose him and take on the challenge of achieving the dream of electricity.

Why does Yosuke want 20th Century Electrical Catalog? What is the secret about the book that only he and Seiroku know? "Sparks of Tomorrow" recharges the dreams of a young boy and girl.
