May 13, 2026 - The second season of My Family, the 6-episode dramedy created by Filippo Gravino and written by Gravino together with Elisa Dondi, produced by Palomar (a Mediawan company) and directed by Claudio Cupellini and Marco Danieli, will launch exclusively on Netflix on June 10.
In the trailer, released today, audiences get a first look at the new season, which sees the return of the main characters from season one, played by Eduardo Scarpetta, Vanessa Scalera, Massimiliano Caiazzo, Cristiana Dell'Anna, Antonio Gargiulo, Aurora Giovinazzo, Gaia Weiss, Filippo Gili, Tommaso Guidi, Jua Leo Migliore and Fernando Guallar, alongside an exceptional new addition to the cast: Sergio Castellitto.
Despite the love, despite the commitment, keeping the promise made to Fausto proved impossible. One year after his death, the balance within this beloved and chaotic clan is more fragile than ever. The only one who seems not to waver is the most unexpected of them all: Valerio, immersed in a new way of escaping the memories of his brother, a seemingly infallible technique to protect himself from pain. At least until the most unlikely guest lands in their lives - an unstoppable mirror image of Fausto and his vitality: his father. The challenge then becomes twofold: rebuilding family unity, reconnecting Libero and Ercole, but also recognizing that the time has finally come to truly confront grief. While the outcome of these new challenges is uncertain, one thing remains clear: this family still knows how to laugh through every fall and how to love beyond every pain.
