DESCRIPTION: (from FX's press release, July 2012) FX has announced the casting of Robert Kelly (NYC 22), stand-up comedian Godfrey (Louie), Josh Segarra (Homeland) and Shirley Rumierk (White Collar) for its latest half-hour comedy pilot Bronx Warrants. Emmy(R)-nominated director Scott Ellis (30 Rock) will direct the pilot, which begins production in mid-August in New York. Bronx Warrants was created by Emmy(R)-nominated Dean Lorey (Arrested Development, My Wife and Kids) who also serves as Executive Producer. Denis Leary and Jim Serpico are Executive Producers and Tom Sellitti is Co-Executive Producer. Bronx Warrants is based on the real life exploits of David Joglar and Richard Wetzel who are Co-Producers. Bronx Warrants is produced by FX Productions. Bronx Warrants is a comedy revolving around a group of errant warrant detectives in the Bronx assigned to arrest individuals with outstanding warrants. With bonuses paid out for each "body" they bring in, the detectives are out to get rich rather than dole out justice.
