DESCRIPTION:
(from Versant's press release, May 2026) For decades, Hooters was one of the most celebrated restaurant chains in America, cementing their place in pop culture with their iconic owl logo and scantily clad "Hooters Girls". But as the restaurant reached its peak in the 2000s, a series of young women working at Hooters - including an aspiring model, a newlywed, and a young mother - were murdered in cold blood. The Hooters Murders: Deadly Shift is a two-hour documentary that unravels the tragic murders of several "Hooters Girls," exposing how women who worked at the iconic "family-restaurant" chain were preyed upon. |
