ASSUME NOTHING (Amazon, New!) - Priyanka Chopra Jonas is in talks to star in a limited series adaptation of Tanya Selvaratnam's memoir at the streamer: "In it, dating New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman - advocate for women's rights, prosecutor of Harvey Weinstein - seemed like a dream. After the terrifying end of the relationship, Selvaratnam bravely shares her story with Jane Mayer and Ronan Farrow of the New Yorker, which leads to Schneiderman's downfall and his replacement by Letitia James, the first female attorney general of New York State." Mimi Won Techentin is penning the script and will executive produce alongside Chopra Jonas, Joanna Coles, Jessica Whitaker and Mary Rohlich for Joanna Coles Productions, Purple Pebble Pictures, ABC Signature and Amazon Studios. Selvaratnam will receive a producing credit. (Deadline.com)
DUNE: THE SISTERHOOD (HBO Max) - Co-star Shirley Henderson and director Johan Renck have both exited the prequel series. "As Dune: The Sisterhood (wt) has entered a pre-scheduled hiatus, there are some creative changes being made to the production in an effort to create the best series possible and stay true to the source material," a spokesperson said in a statement. "Johan Renck has completed his work on the series and a new director will be brought on; through mutual agreement, Johan is moving on to pursue other projects. Additionally, Shirley Henderson will be exiting the series and will no longer be playing Tula Harkonnen." (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - William Martinez will recur on the series beginning with the March 2 episode as Trey, "a character who's an important figure from Simone's (Alexis Floyd) past." (Variety.com)
HELLO TOMORROW! (Apple TV+) - Blake Griffin and Ryan Kalil's Mortal Media has signed a multi-year first-look deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment. (Deadline.com)
INTERIOR CHINATOWN (Hulu) - Lauren Tom will recur on the Jimmy O. Yang-led series as Betty, "a successful real estate agent with a sharp suit and sharper tongue. When her assistant drags her out to look at an abandoned laundromat in Chinatown, Betty is clearly irritated, but her attitude changes when she sees her old friend (and new rival), Lily Wu." LOPEZ VS. LOPEZ (NBC) - Danielle Fishel is set to direct the March 24 episode of the series, which features Justina Machado and Gregg Sulkin as guest stars. The latter plays Dr. Bell, "a visiting veterinarian who finds Mayan (Mayan Lopez) extremely attractive"; while the former is Beatrice "Bunny" Perez, "the "other woman" who broke up George (George Lopez) and Rosie's (Selenis Leyva) marriage." Additionally, Jacob Vargas will drop by the March 17 installment as Javier, "a surly potential client for Rosie's insurance business." (Variety.com)
MATLOCK (CBS) - Kat Coiro is set to direct and executive produce the drama pilot, a reboot of the classic series starring Kathy Bates. (Deadline.com)
THOUSAND BLOWS, A (Disney+) - Malachi Kirby has been cast in the Victorian boxing period drama as Hezekiah Moscow: "Along with best friend Alec Munroe, Hezekiah travels to London from Jamaica and finds himself thrust into the criminal underbelly of the capital's thriving bare-knuckle boxing scene. As Hezekiah finds fortune and fame through the art of pugilism, he attracts the attention of the infamous Queen of the Forty Elephants, Mary Carr, who sets about exploiting his talents to further her criminal enterprise." WOLF (NBC) - Zachary Quinto signed on to star in the drama pilot, which "follows a revolutionary, larger-than-life neurologist, Dr. Oliver Wolf (Quinto), and his team of interns as they explore the last great frontier, the human mind, while also grappling with their own relationships and mental health. Dr. Wolf, head of neurology at Bronx General, is an obsessive genius. He's drawn to people society has deemed as "other" and helps them find hope and purpose.
