ALL MY CHILDREN TV MOVIES (Lifetime, New!) - The cable channel is developing two movies based on the famed daytime soap "featuring legacy characters from the classic Pine Valley-set daytime drama." No other details were given other than "one of which would be holiday-themed." (TVLine.com, 9/11)
BETTER SISTER, THE (Amazon) - Michael Harney will recur on the Jessica Beal/Elizabeth Banks-led drama as Doorman Arty, "a queens born, loyal doorman to Chloe's building." (Deadline.com, 9/11)
BOOKIE (Max) - Rob Corddry's Walt Dinty has been promoted to regular for the series' second season, due in December. (Variety.com, 9/9)
BRILLIANT MINDS (NBC) - Susan Bay Nimoy, wife of the late Leonard Nimoy, will guest on the Zachary Quinto-led newcomer as "a woman who suffers from a condition that causes her to experience hypersexuality." (Variety.com, 9/12)
CHAD POWERS (Hulu) - Clayne Crawford, Xavier Mills, Colton Ryan and Toby Huss will recur on the Glen Powell-led comedy series in unspecified roles. (Deadline.com, 9/9)
COMMUNITY FEATURE-LENGTH FILM (Peacock) - The long-in-the-works follow-up to the series has been allocated $3.3 million by the state of California's film and TV tax credits program. (Deadline.com, 9/10)
COUPLE TO THROUPLE (Peacock) - The dating series has "no plans for future seasons at this time" however it "has not been canceled officially." (Deadline.com, 9/9)
CRIMINAL MINDS: EVOLUTION (Paramount+) - Aimee Garcia has scored an arc on the show's third season as Dr. Julia Ochoa, "one of the country's leading neuropsychiatrists who is assigned to help a high-profile patient recover from his injury-induced brain trauma. She clashes with Alvez (Adam Rodriguez) who, by contrast, believes in a more aggressive approach than her gentle approach." (Deadline.com, 9/12)
CRUTCH (Paramount+) - Adrianna Mitchell has been cast in the Tracy Morgan-led comedy series as Jamilah: "She is described as "a free spirited, naturalista with a dry wit and sharp tongue. Notoriously fickle, the most consistent part of her life was her 10-year marriage and the cozy suburban life she built for her husband and two kids in the Minneapolis suburbs. But when that starts to fall apart, she finds herself and her children Lisa, 12 and Mase, 9 back in Harlem at Crutch's doorstep." (Variety.com, 9/9)
DMV (CBS) - Tim Meadows is set to star in the workplace comedy pilot as "former high school English teacher Gregg, the examiner who likes to get through the driving tests, and the day, as quickly as possible. An uncanny ability to make dead-on observations of those around him, Gregg is sardonic, defeated and would love nothing more than to retire." (Deadline.com, 9/13)
FEEBS (CBS, New!) - Writers Michael Kramer and Lilli Birdsell are set to team with director Todd Holland for a proposed single-camera comedy "following two sisters who love and hate each other and are thrown together as agents for the FBI. With their sibling rivalry on display in front of their teammates, the two must use their lifelong contention to fight for justice and not just with each other." Play Well Entertainment's Thom Sherman will also executive produce for CBS Studios. (Deadline.com, 9/13)
GINNY & GEORGIA (Netflix) - Ty Doran and Noah Lamanna have both landed roles on the show's third season. Doran will play Wolfe, "a laid-back student in Ginny's (Antonia Gentry) poetry class who is not particularly interested in academics." And Lamanna will play Tris, "a brainy skateboarder and a peer tutor who is a close friend of Marcus (Felix Mallard) and Silver (Katelyn Wells)." (Variety.com, 9/13)
GOOD OMENS (Amazon) - Production has been paused on the Neil Gaiman series following "a series of sexual assault allegations against the award-winning author." (Deadline.com, 9/9)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Floriana Lima will recur on the upcoming season as Nora, "a childhood friend of Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Megan Hunt's (Abigail Spencer), who comes to Grey Sloan when a routine operation at another hospital results in dangerous complications." (THR.com, 9/9)
HARRY POTTER LIVE-ACTION SERIES (HBO) - Casting has begun for the principal roles of Harry, Ron and Hermione with producers "looking for children who will be between the ages of 9-11 in April 2025 and who are residents of the U.K. and Ireland. The notice also says that casting will be inclusive to all races, ethnicities and gender identities." (Variety.com, 9/9)
JONBENÉT RAMSEY (Paramount+) - The Melissa McCarthy/Clive Owen-led limited series has cast Emily Mitchell in the titular role, JonBenét Ramsey, "a girl from an affluent family and child beauty queen, whose murder is at the heart of the story"; with Jaime Ray Newman as Amelia Hunt, "an upscale and wealthy god friend of John Ramsey who is part of the group of Boulder women with kids who are friends with Patsy"; Josh Stamberg as Reed Hunt, "a recently retired oil magnate and a good friend of John Ramsey's"; Clifton Collins Jr. as Detective Trujillo, "a Boulder Colorado police detective who does his job but without exhibiting much initiative"; Chris Bauer as Boulder Police Chief Tom Koby, "whose department is the first on the scene after JonBenét was reported kidnapped"; Rory Cochrane as John Eller, "the Detective Division Commander of the Boulder Police Department"; Angus Caldwell as Burke Ramsey, "the eldest child of John and Patsy Ramsey"; Garrett Hedlund as Detective Steve Thomas, "a seasoned detective who is brought onto the JonBenét case"; Alison Pill as "Boulder, Colorado police detective Linda Arndt"; Owen Teague as Jeff Shapiro, "a cocky, risk-taking reporter for the Globe tabloid"; Shea Whigham as District Attorney Alex Hunter, "an acquaintance of the Ramsey family"; and Will Patton as Lou Smith, "a legend among law enforcement, who has worked over 150 homicide cases in Boulder Springs." SHERLOCK & DAUGHTER (The CW) - The upcoming drama has cast Fiona Glascott as Lady Violet, "an aristocrat with deep connections throughout London society"; Phillip P. Keene as Paul Anderson, "the United States ambassador to Great Britain"; Ivana Miličević as "his wife Marjorie"; Antonio Aakeel as "the idealistic young detective Swann, who single-handedly brings scientific innovations to Scotland Yard"; and Shashi Rami as "a formidable insurance investigator whose inquiry into a theft becomes central to Holmes' investigation." SOMMERDAHL MURDERS, THE (Acorn TV) - The Danish drama series will return for a sixth season. (Deadline.com, 9/10)
SPIDER-NOIR (MGM+) - Jack Huston has been cast in the Nicolas Cage-led series, which has also confirmed the addition of Brendan Gleeson. Huston is "believed to be playing a bodyguard"; while Gleeson "is believed to be playing a New York mob boss." (Deadline.com, 9/10)
SUITS: L.A. (NBC) - The series, which has relocated filming from Vancouver, has been allocated almost $12 million by the state of California's film and TV tax credits program. (Deadline.com, 9/10)
THUMBLITE (Netflix, New!) - Rosamund Pike is attached to star in the new drama at the streamer "set in Silicon Valley and examines the schemes, rivalries, visions and obsessions of the power brokers and their underlings as they vie for control of the most powerful industry the world has ever known." Scott Z. Burns is behind the project, which has a straight-to-series order. Pike and Burns will also executive produce alongside Scott Galloway, Greg Jacobs, Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer for Media Res. (Deadline.com, 9/12)
UNTITLED DANIELS & KOMAN PROJECT (Peacock) - Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei and Ramona Young are the latest additions to the mockumentary series set in the same universe as "The Office." No details however were given about their characters. Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore also star. (Deadline.com, 9/10)
UNTITLED LAKSHMI & ROVNER PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Padma Lakshmi and Susan Rovner are developing a new cooking competition series at the Eye with the former hosting.
