ALMOST PARADISE (Freevee) - The Christian Kane-led drama won't return for a third season on the streamer, which has since folded into Prime Video. (TVInsider.com, 4/4)
CHAD POWERS (Hulu) - Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions has signed a first-look deal with 20th Television, home of the upcoming scripted series. (Deadline.com, 4/3)
DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN (Showtime) - The network has commissioned a second season of the prequel series. (Deadline.com, 4/1)
DEXTER: RESURRECTION (Showtime) - Bryan Lillis will appear on the series as Ryan, "a guest staying at the Empire Hotel." (Variety.com, 4/2)
DURANGO (Hulu, New!) - Eliza Clark has sold a new drama to the streamer: "'Durango' is the story of two Gen Z nobodies, Bunny and Mikey, one a down-and-out waitress, the other a washed up ski-bum, whose lives are placed in peril after they impulsively grab a pile of money from Mikey's ex (fake) wife, and her current (real) Russian gangster lover. A Bonnie and Clyde for the TikTok generation, 'Durango' is a look at love, crime, domesticity, conspiracy and passion through the lens of two young rebels who decide they aren't going to settle for the disappointing existence life has gifted them." Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer will also executive produce for Media Res. (Variety.com, 4/1)
GEORGIE & MANDY'S FIRST MARRIAGE (CBS) - Christopher Gorham will guest on the show's final two episodes this season as Scott, "Mandy's (Emily Osment) new boss whose romantic history with her starts to complicate her life." (Deadline.com, 4/4)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Trevor Jackson will drop by veteran drama as "a handsome, intelligent, but arrogant man in his late 20s who has just moved to Seattle." Said role has the option to become a series regular next season. (Deadline.com, 4/1)
GROUP CHAT (Hulu) - The La La Anthony-led comedy, inspired by her book "The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness," has been ordered to pilot at the streamer. Kenya Barris penned the script and is executive producing alongside Anthony, Kim Kardashian, and Adam Kassan for Khalabo Ink Society, BET Studios, and 20th Television. (Deadline.com, 4/2)
HACKS (Max) - Jake Shane will guest on the upcoming season as Social Media Girlie. No other details were given. (Variety.com, 4/2)
I WILL FIND YOU (Netflix) - Jonathan Tucker and Chi McBride have been added to the limited series. Tucker will play as Police Sergeant Adam Mackenzie: "The character is the closest friend of lead Sam Worthington's David Burroughs, an innocent man behind bars for life for the murder of his son. When David finds out his child may actually be alive, he decides to bust out of prison. Tucker's Mackenzie is right there to help his pal in any way he can, for better or worse." And McBride is Max Williams, "a legend in the FBI's Fugitive Task Force who will doggedly pursue the escaped con David Burrough (Worthington) no matter how much it rips his personal life apart." INSIDE EDITION (Syndication) - Deborah Norville will exit the series as host after 30 years at the end of the current season. (Deadline.com, 4/2)
LANTERNS (HBO) - Nathan Fillion will reprise his role of Guy Gardner from the upcoming feature film "Superman" on the TV series. (Deadline.com, 3/31)
LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) - Michele Fazekas has been tapped as showrunner for the series' expected 27th season. She'll succeed David Graziano who will step down after three seasons. (Deadline.com, 4/1)
LUCKY (Apple TV+) - William Fichtner and Eric Lange will recur on the Anya Taylor-Joy-led series. No details about their roles were given. (Deadline.com, 4/2)
NEMESIS (Netflix) - Sophina Brown, Jeff Pierre, and Cedric Joe will round out the cast of the upcoming drama series as Charlie, Malik Jacobs, and Noah Stiles, respectively. No other details were given. (Deadline.com, 4/4)
NIMESH PATEL: INSTANT KARMA (Netflix) - The streamer has commissioned a new special featuring the comedian in lieu of the previously announced one scheduled for April 1. "My special that I self-produced is being postponed. But in bigger and better news, Netflix is producing a brand-new original special that I'll be filming later this year. More soon," Patel said in a statement. (Variety.com, 4/1)
NYPD CONFIDENTIAL (Max, New!) - The streamer is developing a drama series based on Adam Ciralsky's Vanity Fair article, subtitled "Inside America's Most Unconventional Counterterror Squad." The search is underway for a writer. Ciralsky, Gene Klein, Dylan Clark, and John-Eric Capps will executive produce for P3 Media and Dylan Clark Productions. (Variety.com, 4/4)
PARADISE (Hulu) - Shailene Woodley has joined the cast of the show's second season in a top secret role. (Variety.com, 3/31)
SEVEN SISTERS (FX) - Cristin Milioti, Anthony Edwards, and J. Smith-Cameron have been cast in the Elizabeth Olsen-led drama pilot. Edwards will play family patriarch Paul Bosco; with Smith-Cameron as his wife, Francesca; and Milioti as Olsen's character's sister. (Deadline.com, 4/1)
STUMBLE (NBC) - Emmy-winner Jeff Blitz is set to direct and executive the single-camera comedy pilot, "a mockumentary about the ridiculously high stakes and competitive world of junior college cheer." (Deadline.com, 4/3)
TESTAMENTS, THE (Hulu) - The streamer's "The Handmaid's Tale" sequel series has added Mabel Li as Aunt Vidala, "a stern disciplinarian and the heir-apparent to the women's sphere of Gilead"; Amy Seimetz as Paula, "whose recent marriage to a high-ranking Commander has raised her social status"; Brad Alexander as Garth, "a young Commander, who becomes involved in the personal lives of the girls he's sworn to protect"; Zarrin Darnell-Martin as Aunt Gabbana, "a firm proponent of Gilead values and right-hand to Aunt Vidala"; Eva Foote as Aunt Estee, "the youngest Aunt, whose energy and kindness earn her "cool Aunt" status amongst her students"; Isolde Ardies as Hulda, "a guileless girl, full of excitement at the prospect of womanhood"; Shechinah Mpumlwana as Jehosheba, "a competitive classmate from a respected family who is relentless in her pursuit of a high-status marriage"; Birva Pandya as Miriam, "a girl on the cusp of womanhood who struggles under the pressure of marriage season"; and Kira Guloien as Rosa, "a caring and dedicated Martha, a maternal figure to Agnes and a much-needed source of love in an otherwise cold household." TOMB RAIDER (Amazon) - Phoebe Waller-Bridge has signed a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios, home to the upcoming series. She previously had back-to-back overall deals with the company. (Deadline.com, 4/1)
UNTITLED MURDAUGH MURDERS (Hulu) - Johnny Berchtold and Will Harrison are the latest additions to the limited series. Harrison will play Buster Murdaugh: "The golden boy of the Murdaugh family, Buster's well on his way to following in the legal footsteps of his father Alex and grandfather Randolph. Buster's also the apple of his mother Maggie's eye, a lifelong source of tension with his younger brother Paul." And Berchtold is Paul Murdaugh, "who is Alex and Maggie's hard partying youngest son who constantly finds himself in some form of trouble or another, Paul is always on the hunt for a good time regardless of the consequences."
