ABANDONED (Disney+, New!) - Luminol Media has booked a new series at the streamer: "The doc series delves into a real-life story of three children aged two, four and six who were found abandoned at a city train station. They were unable to explain who they were, who their parents were, or why they were there, but 40 years later they set out to uncover the truth." (Deadline.com, 3/25)
ALL BOYS (Netflix, New!) - Alena Smith has sold a new drama to the streamer: "The series is said to be set at an all-boys boarding school in New England and follows a teacher who is himself an alumnus of the school. Now middle aged with a family, he struggles with his own midlife issues while trying to prepare this new generation of young men for the future." Shawn Levy will also executive produce for 21 Laps Entertainment. (Variety.com, 3/25)
AMERICAN BLUE (HBO Max) - The Milo Ventimiglia-led drama pilot has cast Kelly Jenrette as Meg Jackson, "a seasoned Watch Commander fighting for respect for herself and her officers, from a command structure that seems to value neither"; Carlito Olivero as Mike Ortiz, "a hard-charging, hard-headed TAC officer who finds himself at the uncomfortable center of a department-wide investigation"; Onye Eme-Akwari as Darryl Andrews, "a Haitian-born patrol officer navigating the complicated personal and professional politics of his adopted country"; Jess Gabor as Suze Dombrowski, "a rookie patrol officer fighting off disillusionment in a job that is far more than she bargained for"; and Eddie Kaye Thomas as Sergeant Paul "PJ" Booker, "JPD's desk sergeant and Watch Commander Meg Jackson's loyal second in command." ANNE RICE'S TALAMASCA: THE SECRET ORDER (AMC) - The network has pulled the plug on the series after one season. "While we are not proceeding with another season of 'Talamasca: The Secret Order,' we are proud of the series and grateful for the efforts of everyone involved," a spokesperson said in a statement. "The Talamasca has a storied place within the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and we expect to see at least some of these characters, and the organization itself, in future expressions of the franchise." BISHOP (Amazon) - Harry Treadaway has been added to the Joel Kinnaman-led drama as Wyatt, a yet-to-be-detailed character. (Deadline.com, 3/26)
BOSCH: START OF WATCH (MGM+) - The prequel series has added Seamus Dever as Officer Hastings, AKA "Mr. Fix It", "a blunt, no-nonsense training officer assigned to boots on the brink of not passing probation"; Kenneth Miller as Fremlin, "a hardworking member of Cory's (JD Pardo) crew who keeps his head down and gets the job done - no questions asked, as long as the payday's right"; Ryan McPartlin as Mike Garner, "a pigheaded CRASH detective who quickly shuts Bosch down for overstepping"; Raphael Sbarge as Sergeant "Sunshine" Finn, "a cold and meticulous Sergeant whose rigid, detail-oriented standards spark fear in rookies"; Marco Rodriguez as Max Vargas, "a grizzled ex-con whose return from prison threatens to disrupt his son Corey's life"; and Rafi Gavron as Restrepo, "Cory's trusted right hand - sharp, loyal, and never afraid to ask the hard questions when something doesn't add up." CAPSIZED (Hulu, New!) - Charlotte Lillie Balogh's upcoming YA novel is being developed as a TV series by the streamer: "Set in the elite world of girl's high school rowing, Capsized follows Jo Bryant, a spitfire novice, and Margaret Douglas, the polished varsity captain, as they and their teammates unravel a dark secret behind their coach's legacy and train for the annual Head of the Charles Regatta." Charlie Craig will co-write the hour alongside Balogh as well as executive produce for 20th Television. (Deadline.com, 3/23)
DECORATOR, THE (Netflix, New!) - Cody Behan has sold a new drama to the streamer billed as "a psychosexual drama set in the cutthroat world of luxury interior design in Los Angeles." The project, which is based on a short story by Behan, has a commitment to a 20-week writers' room. Stacey Sher will also executive produce. (Deadline.com, 3/23)
DIRTY (Amazon) - Phoebe Dynevor will topline the eight-episode series: "Trainee Detective Eva Bennett returns to Manchester and joins a new homicide investigation run by her fearsome estranged mother - the legendary Detective Chief Inspector Lois Mercer." (Deadline.com, 3/24)
DMV/WATSON (CBS) - The Eye has pulled the plug on both series in advance of its 2026-27 schedule announcement on April 15. Their de facto finales are set for May 11 and May 3, respectively. (Variety.com, 3/27)
DON'T GET HIGH (Hulu) - The streamer has passed on the comedy pilot from Megan Ganz. (Deadline.com, 3/25)
EINSTEIN (CBS) - Oscar nominee Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor has joined the cast of the upcoming drama as Captain Frost, "a veteran police officer. She has logged ten thousand hours in the field and is counting the days until she retires with her partner." (Deadline.com, 3/24)
ETERNALLY YOURS/TILLBROOKS, THE (CBS) - The former pilot "has been delivered to the network and has received an enthusiastic early response," according to the report. The latter's taping "went well, with that pilot getting delivered to the studio this weekend." Both are the Eye's only comedy pilots this season. (Deadline.com, 3/27)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Franchise staples Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd will depart the series in the season 22 finale, airing on May 7. (Variety.com, 3/25)
HOPELESS (FX, New!) - Jeff Chan and Rob Mac are developing a new comedy at the network: "The project, titled Hopeless, follows two people who fall into a chaotic romance when one of them uses the other's phone number as the fake she gives out at bars." Jackie Cohn of More Better Productions and Nick Frenkel of 3 Arts Entertainment will also executive produce. (Deadline.com, 3/25)
HOSTED BY NABELA NOOR (Tubi, New!) - The streamer will launch a new half-hour lifestyle series hosted by Nabela Noor on May 20: "Viewers will be brought into Nabela's world - from the farmer's market, to the kitchen, to the dining room, garden, and everywhere in between - with the help of some friends along the way." Noor's sister, Neharika Noor, is directing. (Variety.com, 3/23)
MONSTRESS (Amazon, New!) - Steven Maeda and Tiffany Greshler are spearheading an animated take on Marjorie Liu and Sana Takeda's Image Comics series at Amazon MGM Studios: "Set in an Asian-inspired fantasy world, 'Monstress' tells the story of a young woman with a literal monster living inside of her. On a quest to understand her past and avenge her mother's murder, she's joined by a colorful ensemble including a talking cat and a hybrid fox/human girl as they're thrown in the middle of a war between human and otherworldly forces. When the world turns us into monsters, 'Monstress' asks how can we overcome our monstrosities?" All four will executive produce alongside Jason Brown and Ryan Stayton of Hivemind. (Variety.com, 3/24)
MURDER ON LAKE GARDA (Hulu, New!) - Fremantle label The Apartment has landed an Italian drama at the servce based on Tom Hindle's novel: "In the quiet of Lake Garda, a private island hosts the most exclusive wedding of the year between Leopoldo Vigevani, heir to one of the country's richest and most powerful families, and influencer Eva Bianchi. When a lifeless body is found on the beach, the island turns into a trap from which no one can escape." (Deadline.com, 3/25)
NCIS (CBS) - Rocky Carroll has confirmed his exit from the series as Leon Vance after nearly 18 seasons. (Deadline.com, 3/24)
OPPOSING COUNSEL (Hulu, New!) - Lauren Fields and Morgan Faust are developing a legal drama based on Sheldon Siegel's book series at the streamer: "The show centers on newly elected District Attorney Rosie Fernandez and her ex-priest-turned-defense-attorney husband Mike Daley as they navigate their marriage living on opposite sides of the law. Mike, Rosie and their teams of richly drawn colleagues regularly face off in court as they each fight for what they believe is right in an unpredictable legal climate. In season one, the couple is forced to face off in court when their best friend is accused of a brutal double homicide. What begins as a high profile murder trial becomes a collision course between marriage and justice-pushing them to their professional and personal limits." PITT, THE (HBO Max) - Mary McCormack, Geoffrey Owens, and Sara Wyle will all drop by the current season. McCormack will appear as neurosurgeon Dr. Linda Conley; with Owens as Dr. Clay Barrett, a cardio-thoracic surgeon; and Wyle (real-life wife of star Noah Wyle) as ER patient Ashley Davis. POSER (Netflix) - Lauren Iungerich's new series has added Joel Oulette as Nate; Hubert Smielecki as Max; and Sarah Abbott as Addison, all series regulars. PROTECTION (NBC) - Taylor Bloom and Kat Cunning have both been cast in the drama pilot. The former is set as Russ Thornhill: "A former Marine now working at the Department of Justice, Russ is idealistic, trusting and believes in the good of people." REASONABLE DOUBT (Hulu) - Meagan Good and Durrell "Tank" Babbs have been tapped as new regulars for the series' fourth season. Good will play Regina Harris, "the new district attorney who is smart, compassionate, and nobody's fool." And Babbs is set as Eric Cropper, "a super-wealthy R&B artist and longtime client of Jax. Eric is charming, calculating, and accustomed to always getting his way at all costs." (Deadline.com, 3/25)
STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY (Paramount+) - The series will end with its upcoming second season. "We're incredibly proud of the ambition, passion, and creativity that went into bringing 'Star Trek: Starfleet Academy' to life," CBS Studios and Paramount+ said in a joint statement. "The series introduced audiences to a bold new group of characters, welcomed familiar faces, and expanded the 'Star Trek' universe in exciting new ways. THIS AIN'T OUR FIRST RODEO (Hulu, New!) - The streamer is developing a TV series based on Liara Tamani's novel, described as a contemporary Western love story set in the world of Houston's rodeo: "When life lassoes Josie and Shawn back together three years after their dreamy first date, their second chance at love is anything but easy." TRACKER (CBS) - Chris Lee's Randy has been promoted to regular on the series, currently in its third season. (Deadline.com, 3/26)
UNTITLED FRANCISCA X. HU PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - Francisca X. Hu has scored a new drama at the streamer: "Written by Francisca X. Hu (Peacock's Teacup), the untitled project is an upstairs-downstairs drama set in the high-flying equestrian town of Wellington, FL, which revolves around the messy dynamics between two rival teams and the families that lead them." Also executive producing are Archewell Productions' Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex; Meghan, Duchess of Sussex; and Tracy Ryerson; as well as Fake Empire's Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. UNTITLED HANNAH AND PAIGE PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - Hannah Berner and Paige DeSorbo will write and star in a proposed comedy at the streamer: "Set in NYC, the Untitled Hannah and Paige project stars Berner and DeSorbo as fictionalized versions of themselves as they become the ultimate ride-or-dies, helping each other shed their baggage and emerge as the people they've always wanted to be."
