BAYWATCH (FOX) - John Beckwith will recur on the revival series as Julian, "an extremely handsome, compassionate, and sophisticated Ph.D. student who's part of an ocean research team brought in to help Baywatch. Sparks fly and white-hot chemistry grows when Charlie (Jessica Belkin) rescues him, only to find herself drowning in his bright blue eyes." (Deadline.com, 6/10)
BEST MEDICINE (FOX) - Stephen Spinella's Greg Garrison and Jason Veasey's George Brady will return as regulars for the series' second season. (Deadline.com, 6/11)
BETTER! WITH JONATHAN SCOTT (Syndication, New!) - Jonathan Scott will host a proposed daytime talk show with CBS Media Ventures: "The talk show will feature interview segments with well-known guests and other lifestyle experts." A pilot will be shot later this month for consideration on the studio's slate for fall 2027. No other auspices were given. (Deadline.com, 6/10)
BIG MISTAKES (Netflix) - Elizabeth Perkins's Annette will return as a regular for the series' second season. (Deadline.com, 6/9)
BOYFRIEND, THE (Amazon, New!) - The streamer is developing a sequel series to "The Girlfriend" that "will be an entirely standalone story, with new characters based around themes of masculinity." The search is underway for a writer. Imaginarium Productions and Amazon MGM Studios will presumably produce. (Deadline.com, 6/11)
CIRCLE, THE (Hulu, New!) - The streamer has commissioned a new version of the series from Studio Lambert and Motion Entertainment which will feature celebrity contestants, introduce audience voting for the first time in the U.S., be filmed in real time, and co-produced by Omaha Productions. Netflix was behind the original incarnation, which ran for seven seasons as well as localized in Brazil and France: "Status and strategy collide in this social experiment and competition show where online players flirt, befriend and catfish their way toward $100,000." Susan House, Tim Harcourt, Jack Burgess, Niall O'Driscoll, Stephen Lambert, Martin Oxley, Chet Fenster, Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, and Colin Campbell are the executive producers. CONVICTION (Hulu) - Jimmi Simpson will star alongside Elisabeth Moss, Sebastian De Souza, and Adam Godley in the streamer's Jack Jordan adaptation. No character details were given. (Variety.com, 6/12)
DARK WINDS (AMC) - John Hoogenakker, Gregory Cruz, and Geraldine Keams are all bound for the show's fifth season. Hoogenakker will play the series regular role of Mark Bishop, "Gordo Sena's (A Martinez) younger, more button-downed successor at the Scarborough County Sheriff's Department." Cruz will recur as Ed Manuelito, "Bernadette Manuelito's (Jessica Matten) biological father." And Kearns returns as her season one character Alice Benally, "Emma Leaphorn's (Deanna Allison) mother, an elder who helps Emma prepare for Bernadette and Chee's (Kiowa Gordon) traditional Navajo wedding." DELPHI (Amazon) - Theo Rossi is bound for the "Creed" universe series in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com, 6/12)
DISCRETION (Paramount+) - Matt Shakman has signed on to direct the pilot and three additional episodes of the series starring Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning. He'll also serve as an executive producer. (Deadline.com, 6/10)
DURANGO (Hulu) - Kathryn Newton has scored a lead role on the drama pilot: "Bunny, who is beguiling, wild, and deeply guarded. She is someone who's always been determined to keep moving - and her latest stop in Durango is no different. She doesn't trust easily, but something about local snowboarding legend Mikey (Cooper Hoffman) gets through. When the two end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, the secrets she's spent years burying may finally claw their way out." (Deadline.com, 6/12)
ESCORTED (Amazon) - Lesley Manville has been cast as Terri, mother of Denny (Brett Goldstein), in the comedy series: "A charisma bomb cabaret legend, Terri is a force of nature with the voice to match." (Deadline.com, 6/9)
FORGOTTEN KILL, A (ABC, New!) - Diana Son has sold a TV adaptation of the Isabella Maldonado novel to the Alphabet: "The show is centered on ex-Army Ranger Dani Vega, a Nuyorican from the Lower East Side and dauntless FBI agent whose specialty is breaking codes and detecting patterns. As part of a task force, Dani is partnered with NYPD Detective Mark Flint. Their clashing styles give them an edge in solving crimes and expose an undeniable chemistry, but Dani is haunted by a secret: a family tragedy in her past that comes back to put her career and life at risk." Maldonado, Justin Hartley, and director Ken Olin will also executive produce for Change Up Productions and 20th Television. (Deadline.com, 6/8)
GET JIRO (Adult Swim) - Titus Welliver, Alison Pill, and Justin Kirk will join Brian Tee in the voice cast of the upcoming 10-episode adaptation of the graphic novels. No character details were given. (Deadline.com, 6/10)
HIT MAN (Netflix, New!) - The streamer's Glen Powell-led feature from Richard Linklater - "A mild-mannered professor moonlighting as a fake hit man in police stings ignites a chain reaction of trouble when he falls for a potential client" - is being developed into a TV series. Stephen Falk is spearheading the project with Powell, Linklater, Stuart Ford, Miguel A. Palos, Jr., and Lourdes Diaz executive producing for AGC Television and BarnStorm Productions. Co-executive producing are Steve Barnett, Alan Powell, Vicky Patel, Shivani Rawat, and Julie Goldstein. (Deadline.com, 6/11)
HOUSE OF GUINNESS (Netflix) - The period drama will return for a second season on the streaming service, with production due to kick off in early 2027. (Variety.com, 6/12)
HOW TO SURVIVE WITHOUT ME (HBO Max) - Four new guest roles have been revealed on the drama pilot: Kevin Changaris as Todd Henderson, "one of Kate's (Kaley Cuoco) clients, an entertainment lawyer with a golf tan who thinks he's fun"; Pressley Hosbach as Madison, "the nanny for Cary's (Jack Ball) and Luis' (Kylar Miranda) children"; Dar Zuzovsky as Maya, "casually involved with Cooper (Jackson) who is also the chef at the restaurant where she works as a waitress"; and Sofía Rodríguez-Toymil as Zara, "one of Leo's (Ray Romano) and Cary's business management clients who is a multi-millionaire popstar and financially illiterate." I'M NOT COMING BACK (Disney+, New!) - The streamer has commissioned a true crime series from Tuck Shop Media and Hodgee Films: "When national police leads run dry, authorities enlist help from a member of the Fox Lake Cree Nation in a desperate pursuit of justice." Producer Joe Tuck and director Brent Hodge are amomg the featured auspices of the Canadian project. (Deadline.com, 6/11)
JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS (Amazon, New!) - An "elevated live-action take" on the 1980s animated series is in development at Amazon MGM Studios: "Designed to capitalize on the rise of music videos following the launch of MTV, the show followed record company owner Jerrica Benton and her alter-ego Jem, lead singer of the rock group Jem and The Holograms. It featured music videos in every episode and a slew of original songs, including the theme "Truly Outrageous."" Lisa Joy, Jonathan Nolan, and Athena Wickham of Kilter Films and Gabriel Marano of Hasbro Entertainment are among the executive producers. No writer was indicated. (Deadline.com, 6/8)
KNIGHTED (Disney+, New!) - The streamer has ordered an eight-part comedy series from Heavy Lifting Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment: "Knighted follows a missing person's case that spirals into an absurd documentary-style exploration of the sinister secrets lurking beneath the enchanting pageantry of a local medieval dinner theatre." Jackson Rowe and Mike Mildon are behind the Canadian project with Bruce McCulloch, Trevor Rotenberg, Zack Waxenberg, and Greg Walter also among the executive producers. (Deadline.com, 6/11)
LAST OF US, THE (HBO) - Peter Sarsgaard has signed onto the show's third season as Amon, "one of the leaders of The Seraphites." (Deadline.com, 6/11)
MAGNIFICENT SEVEN, THE (MGM+) - Amy Forsyth and Danny Pino have joined the cast of the period drama. She'll play Katie "Deadeye" Dalton, who's "wry, sarcastic, and emotionally guarded"; while he's set as Santiago "Santi" Vega, who's "effortlessly charming, stylish, and funny - a master manipulator who prefers to talk his way out of trouble." Additionally, Joanne Froggatt has formally signed on as Harriet Talbot, "who is sharp, unflinching, and unwilling to back down." (Deadline.com, 6/9)
MASHA AND THE BEAR (Netflix) - The streamer has acquired Seasons 8 and 9 of the animated series as well as "secured continued rights to Seasons 1 through 7 as well as spin-off properties Masha's Tales and Masha's Spooky Stories." (Deadline.com, 6/9)
MR. & MRS. SMITH (Amazon) - Levon Hawke has been tapped as one of the Mr. Smiths on the upcoming second season. (THR.com, 6/11)
MUSIC THEORIES (Hulu, New!) - Michael Vlamis and Kyle Anderson have booked a new comedy at the streamer "billed as VH1 Behind the Music meets American Vandal, with its first season exploring the shocking true story behind Fountains of Wayne's hit song "Stacey's Mom."" Dan Lagana, Colin Davis, Jody Gerson, and David Blackman will also executive produce for Polygram Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com, 6/11)
NIGHT AGENT, THE (Netflix) - Luciane Buchanan will reprise her role of Rose Larkin on the series' fourth and final season. (Deadline.com, 6/12)

PATRICK STAR SHOW, THE/SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS (Nickelodeon) - The cable channel has extended both animated series: "SpongeBob SquarePants" has been renewed for Cycle 16 (Seasons 18 and 19 with 26 half-hour episodes in total); while "The Patrick Star Show" is a go for Cycle 4 (Seasons 6 and 7 with 26 half-hour episodes in total). PROBABILITY OF MIRACLES, THE (Amazon) - The Wendy Wunder adaptation has cast Michaela Watkins as Elaine, "who carries the spirit of Promise as the town's head librarian, postmaster, sheriff, veterinarian, chaplain, and aunt to Asher (Henry Eikenberry)"; Georgia Acken as Perry, "Cam's outgoing, athletic, and effortlessly cool little sister"; and Ema Inês as Jade, "an artistic, confident local who grew up in Promise alongside the town's famed "Catalogue Kids."" SIX DAYS TO SUNDAY (HBO Max, New!) - Brendan McCarthy and Alex Kavallierou have sold a new family drama to the streamer: "Written by McCarthy and Kavallierou, in Six Days To Sunday, when middle-aged siblings with broken marriages, stalled careers, and kids of their own move back into their childhood home, the Kelly family must navigate the messy reality of modern American survival in a heartfelt, funny, and deeply volatile multigenerational drama set in blue-collar Wisconsin." Opening the door to their shared room, they find a smashed lamp, an abandoned phone and blood on the carpet. THINGS WE NEVER GOT OVER (Amazon) - Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder have scored a series order from the streamer for their adaptation of the book series by Lucy Score: "In Things We Never Got Over, on which Charmelo and Snyder wrote the pilot and will serve as showrunners and executive producers, runaway bride Naomi Witt heads from the altar straight into trouble when her estranged twin sister, Tina, calls her to small-town-Virginia, steals her car, phone, and purse and leaves Naomi stranded in an unfamiliar town with a teenage niece in her care and a grouchy but very sexy local who turns out to be her knight in tattooed armor." WHAT THE DEAD KNOW (NBC) - The network is looking to redevelop the drama pilot with star Taylor Schilling and a new writer. Universal Television has extended the option on the actress.
