NEW YORK, NEW YORK � August 11, 2009 � USA dominated cable this week, beating the competition in P25-54 (1.74 million, +38% over #2 TNT), P18-49 (1.43 million, +36% over #2 TNT), P18-34 (578,000, +23% over #2 TBS), total viewers (3.08 million, +51% over #2 TNT), households (3.08 million, +50% over #2 TNT) and top household coverage rating (3.12, +1.03 over #2 TNT). This week also marked USA's most watched week ever in total viewers and households.

USA beat ABC, delivering more total viewers, P18-49, P25-54 and P18-34. USA delivered four times as many total viewers as The CW this week (+310%), over three times as many P25-54 (+245%), and more than twice the P18-49 (+168%) and P18-34 (+111%). Further, USA registered victories over "Big 4" broadcasters in every primetime hour this week (M-Su 8P-11P) thanks to the season finales of USA Original Series BURN NOTICE, LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, and IN PLAIN SIGHT, season premieres of MONK and PSYCH, series ROYAL PAINS, WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW, and hot acquired series NCIS and LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT.

USA's new scripted originals outperformed all of broadcast's this week in P18-49, P25-54, and P18-34 delivery.

� This week's BURN NOTICE Season 3 summer finale broke records for USA being the most watched original series episode ever for the network. It was the first USA Original to deliver over 7.5 million viewers (7.6 million), 5 million households (5.36 million), or 3.5 million total male viewers (3.84 million). This week's BURN NOTICE hit series high audiences in P25-54 (3.45 million), P18-49 (2.83 million) while turning in the second largest P18-34 audience ever for the series (1.18 million). Burn Notice was television's #1 new scripted telecast this week, outperforming all cable and broadcast competitors among P25-54, P18-49, P18-34, total viewers, and households.

� ROYAL PAINS also had a record-breaking week delivering series-high P25-54 (3.05 million), total viewer (6.7 million), and household (4.82 million). This represents the first time over 3 million P25-54 came to the series. ROYAL PAINS was second only to BURN NOTICE among television's new scripted fare this week among P25-54, P18-49, and P18-34.

� The season premieres of MONK and PSYCH were Friday's top two telecasts in basic cable for P25-54 (Monk 1.95 million / Psych 1.80 million) and P18-49 (Psych 1.57 million / Monk 1.47 million) on cable. PSYCH delivered more P18-34 (694,000) than any show on television, broadcast or cable. Dateline on NBC was the only show to bring in more P25-54 and P18-49 on all of television.

� The season finales of LAW & ORDER: CRIMINEL INTENT and IN PLAIN SIGHT were the top two telecasts on cable Sunday night among P25-54 (CI 2.02 million / IPS 1.95 million), total viewers (CI 4.83 million / IPS 4.44 million), and households (CI 3.82 million / IPS 3.31 million) and were the top two dramas for P18-49 (IPS 1.54 million / CI 1.49 million.)
