[07/29/03 - 12:00 AM] 'Just Shoot Me' Burn Off Back on Saturdays By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)
CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- After an equally weak showing by its replacement, NBC will go back to burning off episodes of its canceled comedy "Just Shoot Me" on Saturday nights.
The Peacock subbed an encore of its new reality series "The Restaurant" into "Shoot's" Saturday, 8:00/7:00c slot over the weekend where it managed a pathetic 1.8 rating and 4 share in households and a 1.0 average rating in adults 18-49 according to fast national data. That's about on par with "Shoot's" two episode average on July 12 (households: 2.0/5, adults 18-49: 0.9).
NBC had planned on running a repeat of its November special "Faith Hill: When the Lights Go Down" this Saturday but will instead resume its burn-off schedule for "Just Shoot Me."
In total, seven episodes of "Shoot" have yet to air.
