Applications for the Tenth Installment of "Survivor" Can Be Obtained Exclusively at CBS.com

The search is on for 16 new survivors!!! Application forms for the tenth installment of SURVIVOR are available exclusively at www.CBS.com. Application forms are being accepted now through June 22, 2004 at 5:00 PM, PT and must be accompanied by a three-minute videotape.

Additionally, open casting calls will be conducted at participating CBS owned-and- affiliated stations across the country in order to provide hopefuls with a means to make a three-minute videotape. Details regarding the open casting calls will be announced at a later date by participating cities.

Once all the tapes have been reviewed, the producers will fly to cities across the country to conduct in-person interviews with the selected semi-finalists. A final cutdown will form the group of 16 who will participate in the tenth installment of SURVIVOR, to be broadcast in 2005.

The program will once again feature 24-hour-a-day camera coverage to chronicle the relationships and conflicts that develop. Viewers will watch as strangers are forced to rely on one another to survive while also being forced to eliminate each other in order to claim the title of "Sole Survivor" and the $1 million prize. At the conclusion of each episode, the participants will be required to form a tribal council and conduct a secret-ballot vote to expel one of their colleagues from the tribe. In the final episode of the series, two finalists will be judged by the seven individuals previously voted off. These seven will cast their votes and determine the sole survivor.
