ABC Delays 'Life as We Know It,' Other News
By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has opted to push back another of its new fall dramas, announcing on Friday that "Life As We Know It" will now launch Thursday, October 7 at 9:00/8:00c, two weeks after its previously announced premiere date.

The news comes just two days after the Alphabet bumped the debuts of "Desperate Housewives" and "Boston Legal" from Sunday, September 26 to Sunday, October 3 (read the story).

In addition, the network has pushed back the season premiere of its Saturday movie franchise "The Wonderful World of Disney." Originally slated to start on Saturday, September 25 with the theatrical "The Rookie," "Disney" will now start on Saturday, October 16 with the original movie "Growing Pains 2: Return of the Seavers."

Meanwhile, ABC's new fall comedy "Common Savages" has gone through yet another title change. Previously known as just "Savages," then as "Common Savages," the Mel Gibson-produced project will now be called "Complete Savages."
