LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The WB is shelving its new game show "Studio 7," as the summer entry will close its inaugural run on Thursday, September 2 at 9:00/8:00c, one week earlier than expected.
Said episode will feature the seven previous winners on the series, all of whom will return for the chance at the grand prize of $777,000. Since the Frog apparently won't be showing the seventh installment of "Studio 7," viewers will simply learn the winner at the start of the season finale.
To date this season, "Studio 7" has averaged a pathetic 1.63 million viewers.
Meanwhile in other WB news, the Frog is set to air the one-hour stand-up special "Bill Engvall: Here's Your Sign" as part of its "Blue Collar TV" franchise on Thursday, September 9 at 8:00/7:00c.
