TOM CAVANAGH AND ASHLEY WILLIAMS STAR IN THE ABC FAMILY ORIGINAL MOVIE 'SNOW' PREMIERING SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12

SNOW Premieres as Cornerstone of ABC Familys Annual 25 Days of Christmas Programming Event

Burbank, CA (November 1, 2004) Tom Cavanagh ("Ed," "Scrubs") and Ashley Williams (Good Morning Miami) star in the ABC Family original movie SNOW premiering Sunday, December 12 (8:00 10:00 PM ET/PT) as the centerpiece of ABC Familys annual 25 Days of Christmas programming event. Bobbe J. Thompson (The Tracy Morgan Show) and Patrick Fabian (Joan of Arcadia) round out the cast.

Spending time with your family is one of the most important elements of the holiday season, said Paul Lee, president ABC Family. The warmth and heart of SNOW makes it a wonderful addition to the list of entertaining, quality holiday programs that the entire family can enjoy during 25 Days of Christmas.

In a reinvention of the Santa Claus myth, SNOW begins with Nick Snowden (Cavanagh) reluctantly taking over the family business. As if that wasnt pressure enough, with only three days before the big night, one of Nicks young reindeer is captured by a hunter (Fabian) and taken to a zoo. Not only must Nick rescue Buddy-the-reindeer in time to complete his Christmas deliveries, he has to do it before the young buck learns to fly and the zoo realizes what its got! In the course of his adventures, Nick touches the lives of those at a boarding house including Sandy (Williams), who works at the zoo and has lost heart during the holidays since the death of her parents and eight-year-old-Hector (Thompson) who lives there with his mom. As only a true innocent can do, Nick tries to bring back the spirit of Christmas they lost long ago. Will Nick be able to rescue Buddy, bring holiday hope to the boarding house residents, and in the process, find his true love?

The film is directed by Alex Zamm (Inspector Gadget 2) with the teleplay by Rich Burns. Phil Kruener and Myra Morris serve as executive producers.
