JEOPARDY! RINGS IN THE NEW YEAR SEEKING NEW CLUE CREW MEMBER

"What's The Ultimate Dream Job For $500, Alex?"

Culver City, CA, January 6, 2005 - You could join the Jeopardy! Clue Crew. If traveling the world as part of the nation's #1 quiz show sounds like a dream job to you, then you should consider trying out to be the next member of the Clue Crew.

The Jeopardy! Clue Crew is a team of adventurous and inquisitive people who travel the world as roving correspondents, bringing clues to life. The Clue Crew travels to landmarks, historical sites, special events and other fascinating locations around the globe to tape video clues, which are incorporated into the show. To date, the Clue Crew has been to over 100 different cities and 11 countries.

If you love Jeopardy! and think you have what it takes to be considered, you'll need to fill out an application and submit a photo and video entry that includes taping sample Jeopardy! clues. Submissions must be postmarked by January 21, 2005. For details and guidelines, go to www.jeopardy.com. All entrants must be at least 18 years of age.

Producers will make preliminary selections from the submissions and conduct regional tryouts across the country from mid-February to mid-March. Finalists will be chosen from the regional tryouts and these individuals will be flown to Los Angeles for the final selection in early April. The new Clue Crew member will relocate to Los Angeles and begin a series of new adventures in May.

Jeopardy!, a winner of 24 Emmy awards since its debut in 1984, was recently listed among "The Greatest Game Shows of All Time" by TV Guide, and continues to be a ratings champion. The series is the #1-rated quiz show in syndication, and has held that title for over 1,000 weeks. Jeopardy! is produced by Sony Pictures Television, a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, and is distributed domestically by King World Productions, Inc. The series is also distributed internationally by CBS Paramount International Television.
