The series will follow T-Boz and Chilli, the two remaining members of TLC, one of the biggest-selling female groups of all time, as they embark on an exciting journey to discover one lucky and talented female performer who will join them in an upcoming concert and record with them in the studio. For eight weeks, UPN will be there as T-Boz and Chilli put the aspiring performers through a rigorous series of challenges where they will be testing, judging and eliminating the potential artists to find the one who might just be the perfect fit, in UPN's new dramality series R U THE GIRL WITH T-BOZ & CHILLI.

With this project, T-Boz and Chilli are ready to launch the next phase of their careers after the tragic death of group member Left Eye in 2002. T-Boz and Chilli stated, We want to find someone with the right chemistry and magic to work with us. We have been blessed with great success and this is a chance for our fans to join us as we give someone a once in a lifetime opportunity to fulfill their dream.

Four-time Grammy Award-winning TLC, comprised of T-Boz, Left Eye and Chilli, was formed in Atlanta in 1991. They were one of the biggest-selling female R&B groups of all time, riding a blend of pop, hip-hop and urban soul to superstardom during the '90s with nine top 10 singles on the Billboard Top 100, five of which hit number one, and two number-one albums on the Billboard 200. With more than 33 million albums sold worldwide, TLC have won numerous awards and have a long list of mega hits, including Waterfalls, Creep and No Scrubs.

No airdate has been set for this series.
