Universal City, CA. -- February 7, 2005 -- NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution is teaming up with Fountain Mobile, North America's leading mobile marketing and production company for three ground-breaking watch-and-win text messaging contests that will drive viewers to hit series "Maury," "The Jerry Springer Show" and "Blind Date" during February sweeps, it was announced today by Betsy Bergman, Vice President, Marketing, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.

With Fountain Mobile's technology platform, the watch-and-win promotion will enable more than 100 million wireless U.S. customers, including Verizon Wireless, Cingular Wireless (including AT&T customers), Nextel Communications, Boost and T-Mobile subscribers an opportunity to win hundreds of great prizes.

Starting February 7, viewers with two-way SMS-enabled phones can enter the contest via their mobile phone by text messaging their 5-digit zip codes to the specialized short code for each show: MAURY (62879) for "Maury", JTEXT (58398) for "The Jerry Springer Show" and ROGER (76437) for "Blind Date." Participants will receive local tune-in information along with a watch-and-win question of the day. Those who answer the questions correctly will qualify for a chance to win daily prizes, as well as grand prizes for each show.

"Maury" fans who correctly text in answers to the watch and win contest will be given the opportunity to win numerous daily prizes and four weekly grand prizes.

The grand prizes include trips for two to New York City and a VIP experience at Maury. And "Blind Date" contestants will have the opportunity to win daily prizes and a grand prize trip for two to Miami, Fl.
