BRONSON PINCHOT GUEST STARS ON NBC'S "LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT," SUNDAY, APRIL 10TH, 9PM ET/PT

NEW YORK -- April 5, 2005 -- Bronson Pinchot ("Perfect Strangers") guest stars as Dr. Gregory Ross, a dentist whose wife mysteriously dies, on NBC's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," Sunday, April 10th (9-10 p.m. ET/PT).

In this week's episode, "Beast," Dr. Ross' wife dies from a form of dioxin poisoning and Detectives Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) ponder a likely set of suspects: the jealous doctor, the victim's possible online lover and a tight group of weekly trivia players. They also focus on who could have obtained the poison but their crucial clue is jealousy - which begins with another dead woman. Jamey Sheridan and Courtney B. Vance also star.

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" takes viewers into the minds of its criminals while following the psychological approaches the Major Case Squad uses to solve the crimes. This method allows viewers an up close and personal look into the criminal justice system.

Pinchot recently finished taping VH1's "The Surreal Life," and prior to his guest starring role in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," starred in the medieval musical "Chasing Nicolette" at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia. Audiences however know him most prominently for his role as the lovable cousin, Balki Bartokomous, in the seven year run of the hit comedy series "Perfect Strangers." He also starred in the television sitcom "Meego" for Warner Brothers.

Film credits include "Risky Business," "Beverly Hills Cop," "True Romance," "The Langoliers" and "Courage Under Fire."

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent" is a Wolf Films production in association with NBC Universal Television Studio. Dick Wolf is creator and executive producer; Rene Balcer, Fred Berner and Peter Jankowski are executive producers.
