OXYGEN AND LAURA PREPON GET HITCHED FOR LATEST TELEFILM ROMANCING THE BRIDE

------

The Romantic Comedy is Scheduled to Debut This Fall

------

NEW YORK, NY, May 25, 2005 -- Continuing its commitment to original movies, Oxygen has cast That 70's Show's Laura Prepon in its latest film, Romancing the Bride, a romantic comedy adventure starring Prepon and Days of Our Lives' Matt Cedeno. The film is scheduled to premiere on Oxygen Fall 2005.

Prepon portrays Melissa, future bride-to-be and present day bridezilla who has spent the past two years preparing every detail of her perfect wedding day. The morning before she is to get hitched she wakes up to find that she has married a total stranger, Carlos (Cedeno.) With no memory of the night before, the newlyweds embark on a 24-hour adventure to annul her mistake with the hopes of marrying Mr. Right and getting to the church on time.

Through brushes with the Mexican authorities, burning buildings, and crocodile infested waters, Melissa and Carlos eventually find themselves wondering if they made a marriage misstep after all. The film will be shot in high definition on-location in Acapulco, Mexico mid-June 2005.

Laura Prepon is a perfect addition to Oxygen's roster of young Hollywood talent. Oxygen viewers are in for the ride of their lives as Melissa invokes a whole lot of comedy from a wedding day gone bad," said Debby Beece, Oxygen President of Programming. "We're looking forward to joining forces once again with Tim and Process Media for our third great film together.

Romancing the Bride is produced by Tim Perell for Process Media. Perell and Process Media have previously produced two original films for Oxygen, My Sexiest Mistake and Tempting Adam. He is currently in post production for Trust the Man starring Julianne Moore and David Duchovny.

Kris Isacsson serves as director of the film and shares writing credit with both Kat Likkel and John Hoberg of ABCs Hope & Faith. Isacsson is no stranger to Oxygen Media. He previously directed Tempting Adam.

For Oxygen, Stefanie Ziev is the executive in charge of production. She previously served as executive in charge of production for Oxygens first made for television movie, A Tale of Two Wives as well as Confessions of a Sociopathic Social Climber, Tempting Adam, and My Sexiest Mistake.
