ADAM CAROLLA LATE NIGHT SERIES/THE COLBERT REPORT (Comedy Central) - The cable channel has quietly announced its new (and still untitled) Adam Carolla talk show will premiere on Monday, August 15 at 11:30/10:30c after "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart." Nine weeks later on October 17, "The Colbert Report" will also join the network's late-night lineup. It's not clear however if "Colbert" will replace Carolla's show or if both will air in tandem with "The Daily Show." Both series will run Mondays through Thursdays.

THE AMAZING RACE (CBS) - GSN (previously known as the Game Show Network) is in final negotiations to purchase the off-network rights to all seven seasons of the hit CBS series "The Amazing Race." An official announcement is expected as early as this week while financial details or a launch time frame were not specified.

PENN & TELLER: BULLSHIT (Showtime) - According to the network's recently released July schedule, the show's third season will wrap on Monday, July 25 at 10:00/9:00c.

THE SURREAL LIFE 5 (VH1) - VH1 has moved up the premiere of the show's fifth edition to Sunday, July 10 at 9:00/8:00c. The network had previously given the show's new season a September 4 launch date. "Surreal Life" will then serve as a lead in to newcomer "Hogan Knows Best" and the second season of "Celebrity Fit Club." Among this year's participants: Janice Dickinson, Jose Canseco, Sandi Denton (Pepa of Salt-n-Pepa), Bronson Pinchot, Omarosa, U.K. model Caprice and motorcross racer Carey Hart.
